Ramadan countdown has started and so has the excitement, Allhamdulillah 🙂 This excitement has its effect on children as well. To make their Ramadan special, i try to put my efforts to make sure that they look forward to this blessed month and enjoy it till the end.
Last year i made a Ramadan calendar for the very first time. It was a quick one but served the purpose very well. Allhamdulillah.
This year i have been inspired to add more to my Ramadan decor. Today i have made a Ramadan countdown board.
Tavle fra TGR , pris: kr 20
After Ramadan starts, it will be turned into a ‘Days till Eid’ board. I pray to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala that may He accept our small efforts and may He make our children righteous. Ameen.

It was such an eye-opening and informative lecture. I was glued to the screen throughout. MashaAllah the seminar covered all aspects of married life and that so beautifully that i have no words to describe it. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala reward ap immensely for opening our eyes to the true aim of marriage and helping us improve the quality of our married lives in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.
Asalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

Asalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh!
It has been 5 months since i refreshed my relationship with the Quran by taking up a course at NurulQuran. Reading and understanding the Quran with tafseer is an altogether different learning experience and it has taken me to a higher level of understanding about Islam. Although i am a born Muslim yet i had very little knowledge about Quran and its teachings. Allhamdulillah i feel blessed that i have been granted this opportunity and i try to share my daily learning experience with my 6 year old.
Yesterday when my son and i were on the way to his school, we decided to play a game. I asked him to play a Muslim boy and i would play his Christian neighbour who wants to know about Islam.
Now my son had to present Islam to a Christian lady and i was excited to find out how he would do it. He told me about Allah and the Prophet Sallellahu Aleihi Wassalam.I asked him why he thinks his religion is the right one and he replied that if i read the Quran i will get all the answers. Then i asked him why Muslims pray 5 times a day and he said that Allah commands us to pray in the Quran.
I asked him about the author of the Quran and he replied that Allah revealed it to the Prophet Sallelahu Alleihi Wassalam via Angel Jibrail. Considering me a Christian person he mentioned that since the Prophet Sallelahu Alleihi Wassalam could not read or write, he would ask His companions to write and sent the message of Islam to Christians of that time. Finally he convinced me to get a copy of the Quran MashaAllah! 🙂
May Allah Subhanahu wa taala strengthen our children’s imaan in His book so that they can truly live their lives according to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah! Ameen!
If our children can know all about football players, actors, singers, cartoon characters, video games and computers, why can’t they know about the Quran, our beloved Prophet Sallelahu Alleihi Wassalam, His seerah, Prophets ( May Allah be pleased with them all) or Islamic history. In order to excel in both duniya and akhirah, it is really important that we give them both deen and duniya.
